The annual Computational Modeling and Data Analytics (CMDA) Club recently concluded its annual Fall Data Competition, with the winners announced on Tuesday, Nov. 14. A total of 22 teams completed this year's competition.

Open to undergraduates of any major at Virginia Tech, the Fall Data Competition enables students to practice and develop new skills. Teams of 3-5 students compete in Beginner and Advanced tracks; first, second, and third place prizes are awarded in each track.

The working period for the competition ran Nov. 3-14, with judging taking place during a poster board session on Nov. 14.
