Academics
Navigate: Digital platform where you can view your advisor information, progress to degree requirements, class information, academic notes, and schedule an appointment with your advisor.
Transitional Advising: Work with an advisor 1:1 through the exploration, planning, and implementation process if you are considering changing your major.
Academic Planning Workshops: Hosted by current Advising Ambassadors to assist you through advising technology to develop an academic plan.
Writing Center: Supports you in all stages of the writing process through individual writing consultations and multilingual services. All services are free and online only.
CommLab: Provides access to constructive feedback and practical resources for improving oral presentations.
Health & Wellness
Cook Counseling Center: Mental health services including individual and group counseling, psychiatric care and psychotherapy, and educational programming.
Dean of Students: General support and advice, consultation for general student difficulties, crisis or emergencies, student conduct, first generation student support, and verifying illness or other absence related concerns.
Hokie Wellness: Prevention services, education, outreach, and resources to students.
Women’s Center at VT: Resource for gender-related and women’s issues; sponsors educational programs and events that raise awareness of women’s issues’ and serves as an on-campus focal point for services for victims, their friends and families.
