College of Science Prospective Student Events
Campus-Wide Events
- Fall Open House: Saturday & Sunday, November 7 - 8, 2026
Explore campus: learn about academic majors, tour residential halls, check out our lab facilities, meet with current students, advisors, and faculty; and so much more.
In-Person and Virtural Departmental Events
Preview Days happen the day before and/or after our large campus-wide events such as Hokie Focus and Open House. These events allow offered students to experience a day in the life of a student in that major here at Virginia Tech. Several of our departments also host virtual information sessions.
Note: Not all departments offer Preview Days or Virtual Sessions and some only offer them in the Spring. Check back for new offerings at the start of the academic semester.
