Virginia Tech’s Arlington Innovation Center: Health Research (AIC:HR) is a medical research laboratory with expertise in medical imaging informatics and artificial intelligence (AI) and deep learning (DL) in diagnostic radiology, radiation oncology, cancer diagnosis, and imaging clinical trials. Founded in 2010 in Arlington, Virginia, under the College of Science, AIC:HR aims to develop clinically meaningful AI/DL tools for patient care by working with many multidisciplinary research partners in the region and around the globe.

Our Mission is to improve the quality and outcomes of healthcare using health imaging and AI/ML tools, and at the same time, improve patient safety and productivity of the health care system.
